We have just completed our first semester of
FAITH training, and it was a wonderful semester. I would
like to share some of the results with you: visits
attempted-250; visits completed-150; persons joining the
church-11, salvations decisions-3 and baptisms-4. If you
would be interested in becoming a FAITH team member, our
next semester starts on Sunday, August 23rd at 4:30 p.m.
As that date approaches you will hear more about our
FAITH training.
The month of June is going to be very busy in almost
every area of ministry here at Petal-Harvey. The month
starts with Vacation Bible School June 1st-5th. If you
would be interested in serving in VBS, please call the
church office and ask to speak to Amy or Kelly and they
will gladly find a place of service for you. Also, we
will have our 55 Alive (senior adults) VBS class. This
year we will be studying the book of Titus.
On Saturday, June 6th, 23 of us will be leaving the
church on a mission trip to Costa Rica. I’m asking that
you pray for us to have safe travels, strong bodies,
committed hearts and a fruitful week as we go to share
the love of Jesus in many ways. We will be returning
home on June 13th.
June 24th is Father’s Day so let’s not forget our dads
on that day.
Our youth leave on June 26th headed to Laguna Beach, FL
for “Beach Blast”. This will be a wonderful experience
for them. They will return home on the 29th. |
